Everyone Loves A Tiny Pomeranian

Pomeranians are very small dogs, in fact they are known as a toy breed.

An extra tiny Pomeranian is often called a teacup pom.

These poms are not the standard size that Pomeranians are supposed to be. Some breeders specifically breed this size dog.

A standard pomer is usually in the range of 3 to 7 lbs being quite small compared to other canine breeds. When owning a tiny Pomeranian or teacup pom you will have to be extra careful so that you do not injure your dog or puppy.

Pom dogs in general are quite fragile because of their small size so you can imagine how fragile Teacup Pomeranians are even more so when they are puppies. These dogs should not be handled by very small children, as it can be fatal to the dog if they are dropped or squashed.
